Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customer, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product.
As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one-step closer to ownership. Skills for Success Customer Account Advisors can connect and relate well to people, demonstrate empathy, listen attentively, explain things simply and easily, and successfully navigate difficult conversations. Strong multi-tasking organizational, negotiation and persuasion skills are necessary.

The Work:
Attainment and upkeep of customers’ accounts including maintaining updated customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments.
Direct contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement(s) both in home visits and over the phone
Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
. Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management
Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily
. Any reasonable duties requested by management Requirements
United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record).
Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States)
. Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
. High School diploma or equivalent preferred
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
. High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively
. Proper telephone etiquette
. Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets
. Maintain a professional appearance
. Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 9 am to 7 pm
