We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee on-site work, ensure quality craftsmanship, and guide our field team to deliver the high standards our clients expect.

As the Lead Carpenter, you'll be responsible for executing and overseeing outdoor living construction projects with precision and efficiency. You'll work hands-on while leading installation teams, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring every project meets our standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the installation of outdoor living products including patio covers, pergolas, awnings, decks and power screens
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure proper workflow, jobsite organization, and adherence to safety standards
Supervise and mentor installation crew members and apprentices
Collaborate with project managers to track progress, resolve issues, and meet project deadlines
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members
Use JobTread software for project documentation and progress tracking (prior use preferred but not required)
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience, including framing, finish, and general construction
Proven ability to lead a small crew or jobsite team
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Willingness to submit to background and drug screening if offered the position
Familiarity with JobTread software preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
Compensation and Benefits
$35.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience
